Balbirnie House Wedding

Back to Balbirnie House for the first time since Covid, it was great to be back at this venue, its a really popular place and as a result the staff are really on their game, the day always runs like clockwork. Angela is always especially helpful and keeps the show running.

Jo and Kevin had said they didn’t want many “formal” photos, rather they just wanted me to capture the day for them, this is actually my preferred style at a Wedding anyway so I was delighted to do this for them.

The service was conducted by Tegan Elder who I work with pretty often so I know her style of service and can predict when the first kiss is coming so I am ready for it. It was also great to work with Colin from Cam Media again, its been a while ! I was surprised and pleased to bump into Kerry Scanlon doing make up, I photographed Kerrys Wedding last year so it was great to see her again.

The grounds of Balbirnie are fantastic for photos so we had a quick wander round for some shots by the swing and the new padlock wall, well I say new but it looks like its been there for a while.

A great meal provided by Balbirnie then it was time for dancing, the floor was full when I left - a great night was already taking shape.

Thanks for having me guys, it was a great day and I appreciate the business
